Retired, Former Senior Principal and Vice President, Terracon Consultants, Inc.

Following graduation from ISU, David received a water resources sciences (M.S.) degree from the University of Kansas, and a civil engineering (B.S.) degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He worked the majority of his career at Terracon Consultants, Inc. as an environmental engineer and manager, before retiring in 2018.

David is a licensed professional engineer and a licensed professional geologist. He was appointed to the Nebraska Board of Geologists for two terms and currently serves on the executive committee of the National Association of State Boards of Geology.

David is a life member of the Iowa State University Alumni Association, a member of the Order of the Knoll and has served on the LAS Dean’s Advisory Council since 2019. David and his wife Julianne (’80 speech and journalism and mass communication, ISU) have two sons and a daughter.
