Karen Jeske spent 20 years working in planning and community development, including 15 years as an adjunct professor in the Community and Regional Planning Department in the College of Design. She currently serves as a staff member at Plymouth Congregational Church in Des Moines and publishes a blog and a reading journal. She has also taught classes, led workshops, and helped raise capital funds at Plymouth Church and is a FIN Capital Founder.
She lives in Johnston, Iowa, with her husband of 29 years, Doug, and their dog, Wellington. She enjoys reading, travel, movies, and hosting small dinner parties.
